Lotta

Hi,

My name is Charlotta. When I was a kid my only dream was to become a writer (after I realized becoming an astronaut is even more difficult than getting published).

I work as a freelance journalist in London, covering news and feature stories for YLE (The Finnish public Service Broadcaster). I also write for various blogs in the UK; Bitchbuzz and occasionally TechCrunch Europe and edit a blog about music and tech for cool events project Music 4.5.

When I’m not doing my day job I’m working on a couple of secret projects that will be announced in the next few months.

On the train started out as a portfolio site for my photography and writing when I was an introverted journalism student in Helsinki, spending almost every weekend going up to my parents’ place in tiny Jakobstad. The site has stuck with me over the years and followed me through various adventures in South Africa, the UK and Finland.
